This parting glimpse of Navaho Canyon shows both Octagon Butte (L) and Navaho Mountain (R) with a fresh dusting of snow. The retreating storm was still venting its wrath in the distance. Our starting point, which had seemed so remote when we arrived, was now an outpost of civilization compared to where we'd been.
